Supply

We only supply quality timber flooring products. Impact Timber Flooring can organise to have the timber delivered on site and strip stacked inside your home to acclimatise in preparation for installation.

Installation

We install all solid timbers over both concrete and timber sub floors. Depending on your current floor you can have a new timber floor installed straight over the old one. This can help reduce the costs associated with the removal of the original floor and will not impact the quality and finish of your new floor.

Sanding

We sand all floors with the latest machines that have their own dust containment systems. While there will always be some dust residue we pride ourselves on taking all precautions to ensure the dust is kept to a minimum. Unlike some flooring companies we also remove all rubbish from the site and do not use your rubbish bins to dispose of waste.

Floor Finishes

The type of floor finish you choose can really change the look of the floor. From a high gloss finish for a ballroom look to more subtle satin and matt finishes for a natural look.

We use a variety of finishes to create the look that suits your style.

• Tung Oil - penetrating oil that enhances the natural colours of the timber
• Modified Oil - contains a small percentage of polyurethane to enhance its durability.
• Solvent based polyurethane - the hardest and most durable finish. Available in gloss, semi-gloss, satin and matte sheen levels.
• Water based polyurethane - non-toxic and low odour finish that provides excellent wear resistance.
• Solvent based swedish finish - a natural looking finish available in gloss, satin and matte finish. A subtle sheen that is fantastic on new and old floors.
